EXPERIENCED
With 25 years of personal experience, and Euan’s team combined 60 years of working on old masonry and wood frame buildings we have a deep understanding of Victorian and turn of the century building methodology, material, and systems from foundation to roof. We know how to mesh old, intentionally ventilated building structures with modern building envelope engineering design and modern building code standards. We preserve original design intent ensuring incompatible modern materials do not damage historic structure. We are listed as approved historic restoration specialists in carpentry and masonry in municipalities across Ontario. We modernize and restore interiors to current energy efficiency design ensuring comfortable and convenient living space within old building envelope. We provide new construction services including custom building, additions, and extensions; our attention to detail and unsurpassed knowledge of modern building science ensures the value of a dollar spent is protected long into the future. No project is too odd or unique for us to take on. We love a challenge so bring yours to us. It's very hard to nail us down to one particular skill set, working on old buildings requires innovative approaches to construction that not many possess, particularly those with experience working on old buildings is limited. Our in-house team of fully insured, multi-skilled trades men and women can handle all elements of building science and technology. We continually reeducate always pursuing the newest and latest materials and methods.

Our focus and commitment is to provide quality, reliable workmanship based on extensive experience and the patience to execute as needed. We will not cut corners, we communicate extremely well with our existing and potential clients; our focus is not being fancy photographers, web technicians, or putting up smoke and mirror effects to hide poor workmanship. We are real, honest, and hardworking, we are tradesmen first who are passionate about our craft and looking after our clients best interests above all else. We're not consumed with social media we are consumed with our trade and service. We see benefit in social media, and are continually incorporating more into our daily operations without compromise to better reach our audience making us easier to find and speak with. Our in-house staff of carpenters, tile setters, and general contracting specialists are intimately knowledgeable about Toronto’s stock of old housing. We do our own work. We do not sub our jobs out to others and then try and manage them and pretend they represent us and our ethic. We work closely with a team of specialty sub-trades we rely on to help us execute in a timely and professional manner. Our sub-trade specialists include plumbers, electricians, home automation, HVAC specialists, roofers, landscapers, masons, concrete specialists, basement benching and underpinning specialists, and many more. We work very closely with these sub-trades to ensure their work is done to our high standards on time and on budget. We take on responsibility for overall quality control and project management ensuring others don’t misrepresent us or our clients.

We always deal directly and honestly with our existing and potential clients. We communicate openly, clearly, and often to keep everyone up to date on our progress and status.
